In this complimentary 15-minute consultation, we'll explore the reasons bringing you to counselling. It's an opportunity for us to explore how we can work together effectively and for you to gather the necessary information to make an informed decision about your next steps. This might involve scheduling your first appointment or identifying other services that could better suit your needs.
The first appointment involves a 50-minute assessment session. During this session, we'll more deeply explore your current difficulties. It's a chance for us to ask questions, delve into your counselling objectives, and discuss how we can work together. Additionally, we'll outline our confidentiality agreement. This assessment session helps both of us understand if and how we can work together effectively. After determining that we'll work together, each appointment costs £55 and typically lasts 50 minutes. Sessions are scheduled weekly or fortnightly. We'll have regular reviews throughout the counselling process to ensure our sessions continue to meet your needs.

Confidentiality
I am committed to maintaining the confidentiality of our discussions. Nonetheless, there are specific situations where legal or ethical obligations may require me to breach this confidentiality. For instance, if you or others are deemed to be in imminent danger or facing a serious risk of harm, confidentiality may need to be broken in order to ensure safety and appropriate care.
